H&H 60 – Dinner Series

H&H,

Come out on Tuesday, March 29th for H&H 60 at Macao Trading Co.

The first part of the evening (7-9pm) we will be at the bar.

At 9pm, we put the children to bed and have some dinner and cocktails.

How It Works: H&H curates tables with 5 or less people.  You eat.  You chat.

Q:  I can‘t make dinner but I want to come to the event, what about me?

A:  We will be at the bar 7-9 pm and everyone is welcome regardless if you have a dinner ticket.

Q:  Who will I sit with for dinner?

A:  H&H will match up members based on interest, industry and hunches.

Q:  Can I request a seat sitting next to someone?

A:  You can request but it does not guarantee.

Q:  I would still like to tell you the type of people I would like to meet…

Eat your heart out DiMaggio. 

The next event is Tuesday, November 23 (see below).  

I love Fall and I don’t care who knows it. 

The H&H/GFS PARTNERSHIP has begun and we are still looking for volunteers who want to be involved with The Ghetto Film School.  We are teaching seminars on the 12/11 and 12/18. 

The seminar topics are THE TV BUSINESS and REELS, NETWORKING AND BRANDING.  If you are interested in being involved email Sasha Silver – sasha.silver@gmail.com.

H&H/GFS Partnership – Info Meeting – September 7th

H&H/GFS Partnership is a collaboration between the two organizations that involves teaching Industry curriculum, a mentoring program of GFS Fellows with H&H Members, the H&H Intern Workbook, and promoting GFS internship candidates to top media companies. 

 

H&H members teach a variety of different subjects – from film distribution and networking to putting a reel together and resumes/cover letters. 

 

One of the key components of the program is the mentoring program between H&H members and GFS Fellows. 

 

Our members become one of the first professional contacts for a lot of these students and helps them navigate their way into internships and increased industry knowledge.  The program has a defined and small time commitment. 

 

We are holding an informational session on September 7th to discuss the program for anyone interested in learning more about being a mentor.
